About

ABOUT US

Trey Strong and Dan Biase both got their start in the building business with large production home builders. Trey was in Dallas; Dan was in San Antonio, where both had the opportunity to learn the business with two of the largest builders in the country. This provided them a tremendous amount of experience in a short period of time. Between the two of them, they’ve built over 250 homes. While production building was not what either of them wanted to do long term, it was a great way to learn the “ins” and “outs” as well as some of the successful processes of residential construction. Trey and Dan credit their time in the production world with giving them the valuable training needed to manage a project from start to finish, all while managing the needs and expectations of individual customers. They’ve applied these same principals to Flatland Homes by Trey Strong. Flatland Homes, will offer the same quality West Texans have grown to expect from Trey, but with less square footage and a lower price tag. These homes are ideal for buyers who demand quality but don’t need a 5,000 sq. ft. At Flatland Homes by Trey Strong customers can feel confident that their home will be built with experienced supervision and that their needs and expectations will be met throughout the building process.

Trey Strong

Trey Strong was born and raised in Lubbock and earned a business degree from Texas Tech University. He has been involved in the building business ever since. Over the last decade, Trey has grown Trey Strong Custom Homes into one of the largest and most successful custom home builders in West Texas. His passion for quality and his commitment to “getting the job done” has continued to set him apart. With continued success in the custom segment, Trey has expanded his business with Flatland Homes by Trey Strong. Trey is the former president and current board member of the West Texas Home Builders Association. He is an active member of the Lubbock community and prides himself on being highly involved in the growth of Lubbock. Trey loves the outdoors, tailgating at Texas Tech Football games, traveling and shaking hands with nearly every person that recognizes him in town.

Dan Biase

Dan Biase first dipped his toes into the construction industry over 10 years ago, after earning a business degree from Texas Tech University. Dan had a brief stint in the financial world and a thru-hike on the Appalachian Trail before he discovered his passion was in construction. His career history spans various aspects of the industry, including residential building, foam insulation and building products supply. Dan is passionate about creating quality homes that are beautiful today and long into the future. He loves people, timeless architecture, rising to a good challenge and West Texas. When he’s not building homes, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife Suzanne, his five daughters, June, Annie, Rose, Pearl and Minnie and his son from Afghanistan, Sayed. Dan loves hiking/camping in the outdoors, doing Crossfit “the old man way” and the few rounds of golf he manages to squeeze in each year.
